Will work for food / .NET experience

I've been at my current position for six months now, and I haven't been doing much .NET work. I can already feel the limited knowledge I have starting to fade. I've been working pretty hard for the last two years to make the transition from "get it working" scripter to knowing what I'm doing .NET programmer. Problem is finding a job willing to take someone on with limited experience.
Suggestions?

Derek

Derek,

Philly ALT.NET is starting a foundation series starting in Jan or Feb. The goal is to train developers to be better artisans. Networking is also encouraged. Follow @briandonahue and @phillyaltnet for updates and info over time

What JP said! Also, check out Karl Seguin's free e-book on the foundations of programming (for .NET). I'd be happy to talk to you sometime about where you are, where you wanna go, and see if I can point you at any resources for help. Ping me on Twitter and/or via the phillyalt.net email list:

Thanks also Brian. Part of why I've enjoyed Philly Alt.NET has been how helpful folks are.
